Passai Sho抜塞小

Passai Sho (抜塞小, "Minor Passai") is the lesser of the Passai pair, a more advanced companion to the main Passai, generally attributed to Anko Itosu. It revisits the fortress-storming theme of Passai with refined, often more intricate techniques, including defences against staff (bo) attacks in some renderings.

Note: Passai Sho comes from the Itosu line rather than the Oyadomari/Kyan line of the main Passai, so its inclusion reflects the broader Shorin-ryu (Itosu) heritage alongside the Kyan core. Known in Shotokan as Bassai Sho.
