Pinan Sandan平安三段

Pinan Sandan (平安三段, "Peaceful Mind – Third Level") is the third of Itosu's Pinan series. It is the shortest of the five and introduces simultaneous block-and-strike combinations and rapid changes of direction. Known in Shotokan as Heian Sandan (same numbering from here on — only Shodan and Nidan were swapped).
